Who we are

What we collect

• Quote enquiries: your name, company, email address, phone number, collection and delivery postcodes, load details and any notes you send us.
• Job records: consignment details, collection and delivery information and proof of delivery records.
• Technical data: essential cookies needed to run the site and secure the quote form. We do not run advertising or profiling cookies.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To price and arrange the transport you ask us about — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
• To keep records required of a goods vehicle operator, including consignment and delivery records — legal obligation.
• To respond to queries, claims and disputes about a job — legitimate interests in operating and defending our business.

We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to, and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary: subcontracted carriers or drivers used to complete your job, our hosting and email providers acting as processors on our instructions, our accountants and insurers, and enforcement or regulatory bodies where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to 12 months so we can pick up a conversation you restart. Records relating to completed jobs, and financial records, are kept for six full financial years to meet our tax and legal obligations. Data is deleted or anonymised after that.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on servers within the UK or European Economic Area where possible. If a provider transfers data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure or restriction where it applies, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified directly.
